keavdog Very nice job! I've never done a resto like that. BTW check out this decal set for just such projects: https://www.tedsmodelingmarketplace.com/engine-under-the-hood-interior-decal-sheet-1-25/

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words. I enjoyed the rebuild.
WOW! That is so SWEET! I can't believe that this was a restoration. Bravo on an excellent job of breathing new life into an old kit.

Very nice.
Thanks,

This is a kit I helped my son build back in 2014, I painted and he built. After a few years it fell into disrepair and he no longer wanted it. It was painted mica red with black interior. I blew it appart a couple years ago and stripped it fully. In January I finally decided to put it back together.
I painted it Grabber Blue (MCW) and 2K cleared it. Not a perfect paint job, but not too bad either. I went with the white interior as I like the look. I also added guage decals and some 20 inch Magnum 500's. I stipped all the chrome and repainted all that. I am missing the upper rad hose, but till I find one I am calling it done. The engine is Ford Engine blue, also MCW paint. On to the next one.
