I thought I posted about this a year or two ago ; however, it was probably in the scale-auto forum, so that post is lost forever it would seem. At any rate, This is my first foray into the mysterious world of scale autos... It's refreshing to paint something that's not Olive Drab or Ghost Grey for a change. I took a break from this kit after messing up the paint job initially and after unsuccessfully trying to strip the Testors One-Coat-Lacquer, I bit the bullet and purchased another kit. fast forward a couple years.... I got around to painting the new body about a month ago, then clear coated two weeks ago. Paint is MM Pearl Grape. Started foiling it tonight and although to late for this build, I finally got the correct orange for the engime from MCW.. I am really enjoying this kit and will probably pick up one or two more. I have a couple Monogram 1971 Plymouth GTX's that I hope to build in the near future as well. This car thing could be adicting...
