Revell Surfite & Tiki Hut.
Posted by PatW on Friday, May 20, 2022 10:34 AM

One of the older kits with just the car and hut, no Ed Roth figure or decals sheet. I have changed the wheels/tyres to Centrelines and covered the Tiki Hut in vertical coffee sticks and converting to a bar!

With my first Surfite from 2016..

With two of three surfboards in the kit with both other kit decal and home printed one..

Great builds Pat! Toast Toast Toast

Could use one of them to cruise around the retirement community here. Looks a lot better than the golf carts they use. The only place that I have seen better looking golf carts is in "The Villages" in Florida. They have some really cool customized golf carts.

Thanks guys. Yes as it was built with a little 848cc Mini engine it would be perfect for the retirement village, or perhaps now they would insist on an electric one!

You're right Pat! The ones that are here are all electric. Haven't talked to any of them yet but just realized that all the vehicles the grounds keepers and maintenance people use are all electric except for the 2 pickup trucks they use for hauling stuff around and plowing snow.

Have you seen the new F-150 with the trunk under the hood? Doesn't need the room for the engine that isn't there. It now has the bed in the back and a pretty big trunk up front.

No Jim we don't see any American trucks here, due to thier engine sizes. We have a few electric Ford Mustangs, but nothing else other than right hand drive petrol Mustangs and Corvettes.
