1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite - Help Needed!
Posted by Lurkin_Limey on Thursday, August 11, 2022 5:08 PM

Hi Everybody,

New to the forum and looking for some help!

I'm building a replica of my 1/1 scale project car using the AMT 1/25 Road Runner kit.

I've made good progress on the engine, chassis and interior as I have a good reference available!

However, I'm really having problems finding a Satellite hood and tail trim panel which is the same as that years GTX. Also need a 1/25 Autometer Monster Tach and shift light.

Does anybody know if these are available in the aftermarket in the USA?

I'm in the UK and can't find anything available over here.

Will put up some pics of my full size car and my model to date when I can figure out how to upload photos!

Hope someone can help out

All the Best to all

You can get the hood from Hart's Parts Resin.

Hi Mr Mike,

Thanks for the tip - I've already been down that route, but Harts Parts won't ship outside the US, and also won't answer email enquiries.

Shame as that is exactly the part I'm looking for.

Now if a kind US based modeller would order one for me and post to me in the UK, that would be dandy...

Just kidding!

Thanks for the swift reply,

Limey

You can always sand off the hood scoops on the hood and fill in the voids with sheet styrene.

The model and the 1 to 1 look great. Love the color choice.
