Hi Eugene!

I will say this. The supposition on the Radio's tyres is correct. They are a wee bit larger so using the whole wheel is advised. They are probably just close to 1/23in size

Funny you should say about the kit with the missing tire.  I went to a local thrift store and found this old Rolls Royce radio (still works )Looks like the classic Monogram Rolls Royce and I bet the tires and wheels would fit.I might attempt to re do it!

Yes they do have unique tires,if you need one you might have to make an RTV Mold and resin cast a replacement.Yes the roof is just placed on.It was a fun mostly trouble free build.

Well as I mentioned, I've always found those Monogram classics to go together well. I assume the roof is just placed there for the photo OP ? Anyway, great colors, nice looking car !

I saw a couple of these kits that look a bit dubious at Ebay yesterday. The ones I saw a couple of years back were listed new and were sealed. One I saw yesterday was sealed but it looked like a lousy reseal job to me. And another was listed as I recall complete but missing 1 tire ( good luck finding one of those)..

1/24 I have decided not to add the kit supplied chrome trim for the lower body The lines are so clean and the chrome pieces have prominent ejection pin marks.
