Hippy VW T2 Van

Depicting an old VW van, suitably hand painted and decorated! I tried a scratchbuilt roof rack and changed it for just a slatted version!

Cool!

Among the VW van fans itäs known as the T1, though. It is a Volkswagen Typ 2, but the first generation of the Transporter, so T1. T2 was produced after 1968 (in Brasil until 2003!).

The smaller roof rack looks better IMO.

Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Paweł

Thanks Duster. Just a few pieces of Evergreen plastic to build a new rack!

Nice job!I remember seeing vans like that which had a Peace Sign in place of the VW logo on the nose in the seventies.

Thanks Eugene. Yes I remember those too, but in the '60's!
