DanR, I think that your Chevy turned out great!  I'm like you, slightly used but not abused.  I've got plans to model my kit after a co-worker's truck from the early 80's.

Here's my completed Chevy Stepside. I had some fun with this using various weathering and distressing technique and successfully used the hairspray chipping technique to simulate rust on things like the rollbar and the light bar in the bed. I wanted the bed to look busy so I just tossed random kit parts and an AMT '25 Chopped Ford body in there.
