And of course there are also snowmobiles like this..

Thanks Gamera, yes we need to look further. The Russians built a lot of Aersans some decades ago, both military and civilian with van and car bodies with an aircraft radial engine on the back. All for use on snow..
Those are very cool Pat! You could even do something like that with a crazy steampunk look.
