I have not built this kit or any other Italeri kit, so I can't say.

 

BUT, there is this one lad who built the exact same model and it turned out beautifully.

It's about 50 minutes of him making it really realistic and grimey, you should check it and his channel as well.

Working on the #18 car now. Really a great model kit, loads of detail and remarkable fit of the parts. Definitely looks like the real car. Painted it Tamiya French blue with interior panels and floor in light gray. Engine and running gear are excellent.

criticisms would be tubing is pretty thick, not enough yellow tubing for magneto and plug leads. Good detail pictures are necessary.

My only regret was not buying two of these kits.
