his is what I use to letter tires and whatever else may need some white touchup. I was able to find a box of them that had different sizes: 1.0, 0.8, 0.6.

That looks really good BigJim. I've been looking for a fine point marker for tire lettering and these seem to fit the bill perfectly! Thanks for sharing!

Wow that's pretty good.  Did the tires have raised letters already molded in the tire?

There's a few sources for tire decals.  Gloss coat, apply and flat coat like you would any other surface

Wow that's pretty good.  Did the tires have raised letters already molded in the tire?  

Yes, these were raised. It works good on outlined lettering too.
One thing that I do to erase a small mistake is use a pointed toothpick to scrape off where the white shouldn't be.
