1/24 Monogram Duesenberg SJ Roadster by SigEp Ziggy

I have had this model in my stash for sometime, I bought it used online and it was missing the instructions and the whitewalls for the tires.  I found the whitewalls on ebay for $15 and the instructions on Fotki!  So, here goes.

Ziggy

That classic car line was among the best kits Monogram did.  I still have a couple in my stash. Will be following your build.

My dad used to love to build those kits. He was great at it.I love those cars. When I was very young a guy down the block had restored a car that looked like that one. He used to give rides to the neiborhood kids. I loved that car.

Is the color of the engine a hint to the color of the car? Looks great!

Enjoy your build, those kits fit well and are just plain good ! I built the dual cowl of this same line back in 1974 or 75. I've had it in a box along with a 28 Lincoln roadster all this time. They both could use a little refresh and tlc about now.
