I got a hold of some model kit bodies at a tag sale. Got lots of decals ! Is there a clearing house for decals ? A database ? Some have numbers on back and who they are made by .I'm still having a hard time figuring out what kit they came from !
Look on scalemates. You can enter a kit number into the search feature and likely come up with the kit.
