Opinions and info needed on Tamiya 1/12 Ferrari 312T
Posted by widepaul on Saturday, May 1, 2004 2:25 PM
Just got this in the mail - bought it on E-bay.
It looks like a nice kit. It is the 1975 issue. I have searched high and low on the net to find any info - very little to be had. Does anyone have an opinion on the kit and or info on how I can jazz it up. Where can I get stuff for seat belts and parts to jazz up the hose connections etc... I understand that Tamiya re-issued the kit a few years ago - are there any diffeences?
Thanks for the help,
Paul

I built one of thoose as a kid and can't remember that I had any problems with this kit. But as it's some years ago (almost 30) the memory is somewhat blurred Big Smile [:D] Anyhow it's a nice kit, good luck with the build up.

If you want aftermarket stuff try looking at www.f1m.com you might find something there. I don't think scale motorsport make anything for the 312T. If you want general stuff like hose fittings try www.detailmaster.com

hope this helps

Thanks for all of the fine remarks!
I was able to locate some info at this website:

http://www.modelersite.com/May2004/English/menuenglish.htm?I+Agree=++++++I+Agree+with+these+terms++++++

I got a few very nice PDF files with lots of pics. Now I just need to tape the decals to the south side window to get rid of the yellowness.

Paul
