scratch built truck plans? Check this truck out, I need some info

I saw this truck in a gallery here on this site..

I was so amazed, I must do one myself. Another type of construction I like besides brass, is balsa wood. There are Model-T trucks that people built from balsa for garden model railroading. They are in 1/20th scale. I know there has to be more sites available for people who scratchbuild, but I guess I do not know where to look. Any info, links or pictures would greatly help me!!

I think that is an old Mack - I recall building a plastic one when I was 8. It was big - bigger than 1/24 scale, at least.

heh heh, that one in the pic is 1/35 scale. It is 100 percent hand made except the tires. It is a 1923 mack with a working winch and differential, all scratch built from brass.

That's right - I did make one when I was 8. It was plastic, which was yellow, it had a flat bed. Anyone remember the kit?

I remember it as the Beer Wagon, by Monogram. Can see lots of those old customs at http://www.showrods.com/home_page_links/gallery.html

That truck at the top is RAD!

I've just discovered the world of paper models. These guys are amazing. I would like to use the paper kits and transfer the shapes to plastic and brass. The kits come in different sizes and can be photocopied into whatever the scale you like. My first one will be a Kubelwagen in 1/25th scale. I eventually want to do tanks in the same scale. hope this helps.
