The F-1 Safety Car this year is an SLK 55 AMG, the Medical Car is a C55 AMG Estate, last year the Safety car was an SL 55 AMG.

You're thinking it's the SLR McLaren which is limited production run of the SL by McLaren & Mercedes. So limited they can't use one to run as a safety car for F-1 :)

The 2005 SLK has had heavy body re-work from any existing SLK kits, and I haven't seen any word on who (if anybody) is going to make them yet.

EDIT: Now with ART!

F1 Safety cars are Mercedes Benz. Simple silver paint, yellow light bars and the words SAFETY CAR or MEDICAL in black letters.
I'd check out Tamiya or Hasagawa for some Mercedes sedans and use those.

I don't think I've seen it advertise or promoted anywhere. Check out the stock lists on Hobby Link Japan www.hlj.com

Dear People,
is there in anyway that I can get F1 McLaren Safety Car Model Kit. Or the company that produce it. I guess this model would be great!
