AMT 1973 Ford Mustang 38156

Just in case I am not the last to find this out, the AMT 1973 Ford Mustang kit #38156 cannot be built stock. I just purchased this kit thinking that the box pictures depicted the contents of the box (what was I thinking?). This appears to be a re-issue of the Macho Mustang Street Machine, although it looks more like a Trans Am racer to me. Their are no scripts or side marker lights on the body, and NO STOCK PARTS WHATSOEVER! Well, there is one, the spoiler, but there are no mounts for it. I was not pleased, and I wrote AMT/Racing Champions and told them, but I thought I should pass this along so no one else buys this kit expecting a stock build option. There is just no way to do it. To make it worse, I had the ORIGINAL AMT 1973 Mustang, but sold it to a collector for dirt cheap, since it was in MINT shape, and I wanted to build one. I thought the new release would make us both happy. Oh well. Hope this helps any other unsuspecting buyers.
