'66 GTO color Q

Hey ya'll,

I'm about to start building a '66 Goat to give as a gift to a friend who owned one when he was younger. From talking with him, he mentioned that it was a dark green color, so the question is, does anyone know whether there is a hobby enamel that comes close to a GTO dark green? I've noticed several green ones on websites, but they are all in different shades, and so I'm unfamiliar with which one is correct. Thanks in advance!

Best bet is to look up the original color from pontiac and then see if it matches anything they are spraying now. I do however feel that it might be a waste of time. The tint on your model will still come out a different shade even if you were shooting the original paint from Pontiac since the scale of your model is smaller then the original car . I am sure your friend will be quite happy with the model no matter what shade of dark green it is. It will be the memories you stir up that will mean more than the closeness of the darkgreen.Big Smile [:D]
