First Car
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 9:09 PM
Okay, I'm new, and I'm trying different types of models. I tried this Camaro 69'. Here is my first completed part of it, the hood. I think it looks rather good, like a factory shiny paintjob! But the pic quality is rather low and i can't simulate the shiny-ness. Anyone got any tips on what backdrop to use?

TAG -

When photographing, I use flat white poster board for medium and dark colored subjects, and flat black for light / white subjects. You'll also have to decide if you want to use ambient lighting or flash. Flash is usually nasty, as it leaves shadows where you don't want them. Making a photo box is best, and not too expensive, but you for most work the poster board works well enough.

Archer out.
