Choice for first bike...

I was thinking about either Tamiya's Ducati 888 Superbike or their Honda NSR250 Repsol. Has anyone built either one of these? What did you think of the kits?

HEY,
I havent but they are both by tamiya so they are sure to be great. Just pick which one you like more, i would go for the ducati. Go to your LHS and get some ducati yellow, and that thing would be sick.

I've built both the Ducati 888 and 916, and highly recommend them!
Parts fit excellent, crisp molding, delicate seam lines easily removed, lots of great detail. Those Tamiya bikes are wonderful to work with!

HEY,
I might end up getting one. My stepdad has a collectable diecast ducati that i could use for a reference in detailing, dont know though, ive never built a bike before.

The Repsol kit has a lot more of a bit tricky decals in my opinion and I would wait with that in favour for the 888 if you find decalling a bit tough. And red bikes are allways beautyful...
