New project! UPDATED, WITH PICS
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, August 14, 2004 12:28 AM
I just started a 67 pontiac gto (I think thats the correct year). Top down, nice candy apple red, white, black, and red interrior, Some sweet wheels, and a shiny metaliac blue engine. There arent many parts, so its goin by pretty quick. Ill hopefully have pics of it later on tomrow. Im close to half way done with it.

The candy apple red finnish turnd out amazing, only a few bubbles in it, wich u dont notice. Its probaly goin to be the nicest looking model ive done.Smile [:)]

Thanks,.

Its actualy a 65 pontiac gto.

I painted it blue because thats what the box shows, and thats what the instructions show. It looks patriotic with the red white and the blue. It looks cool.

Im gona start working on it in about 30 minutes, and im gona work on it alll day.

Ahhh Candy apple red.... I love mixing my own paints, throw in a little SNJ Metalizer.. and then shine the heck out of it... Big Smile [:D]
By the way you can buy SNJ metallizer at your LHS in the piping sections normally. Cool [8D]

It's also nice to use it on the endgings for your chrome effects... you can spray it with a clear coat after and it sets nice.... no need for silver paint... if you make a mistake it wipes off without leaving that nasty silver streak in your paint Big Smile [:D]

There ya go. IM gona need a better place to upload pics, since this only holds 50 pics then you have to pay mony and upgrade. Any ideas?

The pics came out better than the mustang ones, but theres still some fuzzys. The pictres dont show the really nice looking sparkles in the finish, but oh well. Tell me how you like it from what you are able to see, be honest, i wont cry if you tell me its ugly.
