I love the way you've done the manifold, and the rest of the engine detailing. I'm putting the engine together on my Lancia 037 in the group build, so I appreciate the effort you've put into that. Superb.

man you should put a body kit on it, spinners, and tons of sponsership decals (nos, mugen power, etc etc) and paint it yellow or white, and add a 3 stack spoiler

Hey thanks for the comments.

This car is built as stock except for the wheels and the engine bay. The kit supplies everything you need to make a stock replica but the stock wheels are off - they should be 15 inches in diameter but the kit wheels scale out to 18 inches.

For the base, I used black poster paper draped over a chair.

Hey, that's a beautiful build, Wilson, thank you for sharing it! Smile [:)] Those outdoor "natural lighting" shots really are the way to go if you want the viewers to do a double-take! Nice presentation, thanks again!

Take care,
Frank

The weather here in Vancouver finally got nice enough today to warrant a good photoshoot. This is the 1/25 scale Revell kit and is mostly out of the box except for some detailing up and wheel changes.

Paint - Tamiya TS-50 Mica Blue with TS-13 Clear
Wheels - Mugen MF-10 from the Tamiya S2000 Kit
Interior - Model car garage buckles and Modeler's seatbelts
Engine - detailed up with wires/hoses, and meta-look silver clamps
