I was wondering if anyone has built the revell monogram '67' GTX 2in 1 kit and what can be improved on it. I bought the kit already as I want to try my hand at super detailing a car and I just liked the kit.

Hi Bill,

Haven't built it, but have been putting off getting one for a while now, wanting to modify it into Richard Petty's '67 GTX. Thanks for posting, as I will follow your progress. Smile [:)]

Take care,
Frank

I built this kit stock except for motor, I put Revell's 383 from Mr Norm's kit in my GTX. & torq thrust wheels on my kit because that's how my full sized 67 was set up.
Both kits are excellent, If you are going to do it stock you may try to locate correct Stock steel wheels and dog dish hubcaps which most 67s came with.. I am clueless where to find these in 1/25 scale, I think the 1/24 scale 70 GTX from revell has these wheels. But look wrong on a 1/25 scale kit.

Those are some sweet engines but the problem with them is trying to explain tomy better half why I need a 22 dollar engine for a 10 dollar kit. Although I found a '67' GTX P/E kit for this kit which I will probably get.
