Anybody have experience with the Heller kit of the Citroen 15CV. A Big Big Big Kit. 24' long,9' wide with 1054 pieces and weighing over 4 Kilos!!!!!! when finished. I just saw it in my LHS and though cars aren't my usual thing i was tempted. The price is a bit heavy as well. Over $100 here in Warsaw.Smile [:)]

Hi,

I am currently building the Heller 1/8th scale Citroen Traction Avant, what a detailed kit, the tip I would give you is to build it in sections, so that you know where you are exactly up to.

I am building mine in the Gangsta Moderne style, the car will have the following features, whch are as follows:-

1) Two tone paint scheme

2) Embossed citroen chevrons in centres of seats.

3) Quilted leather upholstrey around the outside of the seats.

4) Quilted leather headliner.

5) Flip down tv's in rear of car.

6) Understated stereo system.

7) Chrome Veleocity 6 tyres wrapped in 40 series rubber.

The kit could be made in a number of other ways, the only limit is your imagination and time you wish to put into it.

I bought my kit in August, but have only just started building it, because I didn't want to mess things up.

Go ahead and buy the kit, you won't regret it.

I've built it before and am building it again at the moment. It's a great kit and I highly recommend it.

This sounds like a most intriguing build.  I hope you get a chance to give us  progress reports and pictures, as you...er -uh...progress Huh?
