Anyone know where to find medium duty truck kits?

Thanks to all who have responded so far, looks like I'm doing ok on the International, still looking for the 80-90's Ford F-700/800 but I found several resin casters who are not online so I'm hoping maybe one of them does one when I get their catalogs.

I've always wished there were more medium duty kits out there, but thankfully the resin casters have helped to fill the gap.
The AMT Louisville and C-Series Fords are the best donor kits, so I try and get them whenever I can, to stash for future builds.
Model Truck and Fire Apparattus, and Spaulding Trading and Shipping are two of the best sources. Griffen Designs is re-doing their product line and is temporarily shut down. When he gets going again, he should have some good items.
As mentioned above, Perry's Resins has a nice Top Kick conversion for the Louisville kit chassis.

You might check out Spaulding Trading and Shipping. They sell only truck stuff. There are a few versions of the Ford Louisville out there in several scales.

Thats the cool thing about wildfires though Aaron. You can actulally stand around and watch the fire for a change instead of immediatly putting it out.

Thanks, I've worked on several engines based on the Ford and International, they are popular trucks but no one seems to build anything but semi's. The Ford delivery truck is not the same (although the city I grew up in used them for years as fire engines so eventually I plan on building one). I have not seen those resin conversions before, the International hood looks like it might work, I'll give it a try. I've seen the toys mentioned but never been able to get one, those would be fire.

I can't take credit for the fire in that pic, I found it on the web. I have been on some fires like that though, about all you can do with them is take pictures of the air tankers and keep the engine running (so you can get out of the way if it comes your way).

has the International hood. And a GM TopKick one, too. Most aftermarket (resin) hoods use the Ford Shorthauler kit lizard mentioned as the basis, since the cab is pretty compatible with the other makes of hoods. You can also scratchbuild it, if you're not in a hurry.
For the Ford, a lot of modelers are using the diecast Ford Cruzer assembled model as a basis, but the Shorthauler is often mated with emergency vehicle bodies.
For crew cabs, you're on your own, although most look like two cabs spliced together anyways - like the International, where the back door is cut at an angle as if to fit around the windshield.

Side note, that is some impressive fire behind the top truck. Can't say that we ever seen that here. Big fire here is about waist high.

Aaron you might take a look at the Coca Cola truck. it has the same look as the Ford, can;t remember which model Ford it is though. I have been keeping my out for the same type stuff and that is about the closest thing I have found other than the various AMT trucks.
