Those trucks do sound interesting. Glad to hear it was a good turnout.

The modellers rally was very well attended with loads of exibitors. The `Stars of the show`, as far as I was concerned was the 1:24 radio controlled fleet of trucks. Two of the outstanding ones were a Kenilworth pulling a refridgerated unit and a rigid M/Benz with trailer. EVERY single light operated, right down to the warning LED`s on the temperature control panel. What a brilliant sight they made!
I have several photos of these trucks if anyone is interested,
Having spent ages learning how to get photos into my postings - I`m going to post one anyway LOL

My main hope is that I can find a manufacturer of 1:24 Leland bus or truck kits.

Good luck. I have a very hazy recollection of seeing a Leyland bus kit in the distant past, I'm not sure of the scale but it was quite large but there again it may not have been a Leyland. Do you really want to stick to 1/24th as there a several in smaller scales (but mostly white metal etc)

My local museum (British Commercial Vehicle) is holding the annual British model makers convention on the 31st.. of this month.
I`ll be interested to see how much of it is devoted to items from your side of the pond. I`ll report on anything of interest.
My main hope is that I can find a manufacturer of 1:24 Leland bus or truck kits.
