Porsche to RC
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, October 25, 2004 5:09 PM
Hello all,
Recently I have been messing with these RC cars called XMods. While digging in my closet, I found a metal-body kit of an '88 Porsche 911 flatnose. My question is this: The Porsche wheels have a cylinder that would attach it to the original axle. The RC car's axle, while being the same width as the cylinder, has a cutout so it looks like a D in cross-section. My thoughts are to make a shim attached to the cylinder, so when the axle turns, so does the cylinder (and wheel). How would you do this?
