You can use Thermaform to duplicate just about anything that doesn't have a concave surface. You can also use white styrene plastic with the same technique to make new hoods, fenders, roofs,.......

Try this site, they supply clear Thermafoam in 8" x 5" sheets.

In the latest Scale Auto there was a tutorial on using Termaform clear plastic for headlights. (I guess airplane makers make canopies out of this stuff). I've been wondering about a clear hood for my Merc chop-job . Can this stuff be used--using the stock hood as a mold? Also, where does one find Thermaform? I've looked at a couple of vendor sights and found nothing.
