Had that thought myself, but with another twist.
Cut loose the parts.
Throw them back into the box.
Squeeze some glue in and put on the lid.
Shake for a while.
....and voila! A new kit to put on the shelf.
With some practice you could even poor in some paint and get a custom paint job.
Can't give you any feedback on the super 7 as I still have to build one, there always seems to be some other kit that draws my attention so it still sits at the LHS.
