Looks good.

Personally I found the pics a wee bit too large and containing a bit too much surroundings.Blush [:I]

But it looks you got a winner there.

Nice job. Pintang's advice of doing a test first is excellent advice. I generally put a surplus decal from the sheet on an old body, spray and leave for a couple of weeks.

I've just seen the pics, and it's looking awesome. The decal and paint job looks very nice. Can't wait to see it finished.

I can't see the pics either. Hope you can get them working soon.

My advice is, never use Tamiya TS-13 clear over Tamiya decals. I've had it fry a few decals in Tamiya kits. I now use Microscale's Micro gloss or an Acrylic clear coat. I've had good results with Micro gloss, but just make sure you let the decals dry very well before you do anything to them. And do a test on a small area first, you never know what's gonna work with Tamiya decals (They're different every time).

Washing with soapy water helps too. Just get a bit of dishwashing liquid and scrub it with a soft brush, or rub it with your fingers. Then rinse it all off and let air dry.

Hope this helps.

Yahoo does have a bandwidth limit and I think they also block you from linking to the images directly.

Quiet a few free hosting services do so do cut down in bandwidth usage.

Best is too look for a cheap web-hosting provider, there are someare that charging $3 a month give you 300MB space, e-mail address and also allow scripts to be used.

hey when u say soap do u mean like liquid dish washing soap?? i just dip dip the brush in the soap, gently scrub then rinse it( not using anywater to scrub it ?)? that right?? sorry im scared i dont wanna ruin my hard work Wink [;)]
oh and ill prob be using model masters clear enamel(if they have one), coz its only 10more days till i get my compressor!! is that okay to put over decals? ill prob use ur advice on all clear coats with decals that i do tho, sounds right! Big Smile [:D]

ill try and get those pics working later, im using another comp atm...

Sorry to say, I can't see the pictures Sad [:(]
But for cleaning the model before clearcoats use a soft brush and some kind of soap. Rinse it well and leave to air dry. Rub of any spots left from the water and go on with the spraying. I wouldn't use any alcohol based cleaning method on the TS-range of colours as it will soften the paint and ruin it for you [:0] You can use rubbing alcohol to strip off Tamiya laquers, takes some time but eventually it will come of. Take care if you use TS-13 clear as it will attack the decals if put on in heavy coats. Just put on mist coats until you are dead sure everything is buried in clear and then go for wet coats.

here goes:

btw, what can i use to clean to model with before clear coating it? coz theres micro sol/set residue all over the car. ised tamiya spray cans for the body, so will alcoholic medi swabs be okay to use?
