Good work there. With a bit of drilling, tooling, and chroming, you could make those rears into some real nice :machined" look wheels, at a much lower cost too!

Been shopping around a bit, this area is as innocent of 1/12 wheels/rims and afffordable 1/12 kits as a newborn babe.
Came home and raided the spares box, found something that might work as a last resort.



The Bike rim is from a 1/12 Kawa Z400FS kit, but I will be using a wirespoke wheel for the actual build. Size seems to be about right.
Rims and Tires are actually from an old Tamiya Sports tire set that costs about $3,5.


Still looking through the spares box for anything that might help spruce them up.
If I can find a 2nd set I might try my hand at making custom rims.

Like I said those are a failsafe option in case I can't get anything else.

Naturally any feedback and ideas welcome.

Actually, I have to thank you as I never though of using Rims from a F2000 or similar car.
Was thinking if I can't get RC parts my next best option would be Top-Fuel Dragsters or similar.

Not really in a rush as the GB won't start for another 2 months.

Oops, my bad. The kit is an F2000, not 2002. Revell's catalogue lists the kit number as 07223.

I'm not at home right now to check my own kit for you, but I will be there in about two more weeks. If it's not too late, I'll check the instructions to see if there is a part number for the tires.

BTW, Tamiya also makes Ferrari (and other) F1 cars in 1/12.

Really much appreciated, not too worried about the looks of the tires itself as they can be enclosed in wheel wells or similar.

Will try to contact Revell to see if they will sell me a set of tires, but might need kit and parts number for that though.

Cool. Hope they work out. I found them by Googling for "1/12 scale Ferrari". I have the Revell/AG Ferrari F2002, and I could have sworn that I saw A/M sets of tires also, but I forgot where I saw it. Thought it was through Squadron or GM, but a search on both turned up nothing. Maybe Antares can help you locate the tires.

You also might try contacting Revell to see if they will sell you just a set of replacement tires for that kit. (I'd be curious to know myself).

The BSR tires are rated in temp ranges (as if that really applies, eh?) by color. I know nothing at all about R/C racing, but just looking at the pics, they all appear to be black. Anyway you can call them and find out.

Sorry, no wally mart where I am.

What I actually need are rims and tires for the rear wheels. Those are often standard car rims and tires, depending on the Trike.

Got plenty of frames, engines, forks and wheels for the front, but need about 1/12 scale car rims thus I was thinking of using RC parts.

Not too fuzzy about the design as the Trike is still on the drawing board so I can adjust the look to fit the rear rims.

The only thing I can suggest is maybe try looking at a toy store or toy section at Walmart and see if they have a toy cycle that might be close in scale.
