Your right and that is exactly what I did. He wanted the bed flat black, to look like a bed liner and the roll bar gloass black. Thanks for the suggestion.

Easy solution, ask your son what he would like. If he wants an exact replica, you have the 1:1 truck for reference, if not; it's a model so the skys the limit.

Two-tone P/U Truck

Recently my son asked me to build him a 1978 GMC P/U truck, similar to the one he owns. He wanted it painted two-tone, Silver over black. I have the black done, however, I am little confused about the inside of the bed and the roll bar. Should the bed be silver, like the top of the truck, or black? Also, what would be a good interior combo? I am an armour and plane guy and believe me it's been a long time since I did a car/truck! The chassis is done and I was able to squeeze an engine from a NASCAR race car into the engine compartment, including the headers. Should look real nice when done. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks.
