Does anyone remember this kit?
Posted by billc3207 on Friday, May 16, 2003 12:52 PM
In the late fifties I built a kit called the Green Dragon. Basically it was a real cool hot rod with an enormous amount of chrome parts. As I recall it was a very challenging kit for a ten year old kid. Does anyone remember this kit? Who manufactured it? Is it still available? I would love to find one and try my hand at it again.

Could it have been Monogram's "Green Hornet?" If so, this one has been re-released and could quite possibly still be around. It had a couple of nice, chrome trees in the box.

Mine says "Copyright 1960" on the box.

Thanks for the reply. The kit is the Green Hornet. I've checked several websites and nobody has the kit in stock. I couldn't find it on the Revelle site either. It must be out of production. If anyone has an extra that they want to sell, please let me know.

Have seen this kit several times on Ebay over the last couple of months but have been unfortunate to be able to land it as of yet so I am sure you won't have a problem finding it there. Enjoy the auctions.
