Why don't you try over at scale auto, there is much more auto based GB activity over there (they call them CBP community Build Projects).

Hmmm, maybe because we are members of this forun and not "Scale Auto".

With my diversity of builds I would need to join more than 1 forum and I don't have time to join and read 5 or 6 forums.

Plus, in my case I tried to start GB's in 3 forums and no interest whatsoever.

Sorry, I consider scale auto an extension of FSM but I can see your point.

Seems to be so. Pity really, I think the Ricer GB could have been fun, was playing myself with the idea of joining it.

Never to late to build another one Big Smile [:D], anyway, it seems that there was virtually no interest, so I think this is gonna be a solo-build.

If he is looking for 1/12 "Dog Bones" I got quiet a few in the spares box. Wink [;)]

Either way there are several designs that would be easy to scratchbuild.

Actually a couple of weeks ago, I mentioned the idea of a Streetracers-GB with NO American mussclecars or hot-rods.
A few kept asking why there were no American cars allowed, and I kept telling that the idea was based on Need for Speed Underground and The Fast and The Furious.

And now comes my point : somebody told me that, to eliminate the particiaption of American cars I should call the GB : Ricers or risers.

My guess is that a Riser is a Japanese made streetracer. Big Smile [:D]

Am I right, tell me, I'm right, ain't I ??? Yeah c'mon tell me that I'm right.......Tongue [:P]

PS: U-96 was the one to sugest that name...

I was wondering the same thing, Proosen!Dunce [D)]

As a drummer, all I could think of was the small stage-like structure on which I set up my drumkit (space allowing!), called a drum riser.

I'm guessing that ain't it!Big Smile [:D]

Can you give us some more info, Jimmy?

Show me a picture of the original thing and maybe we can solve the problem. I don't even know what you mean...what is a riser? The only thing I can think of is the parts where you put the handlebars on a bike!? Hmmm...it could be something to rise the ride height of an auto as well......
Nothing is impossible, miracles just takes longer time.

Cheers!
