i drive a 2002 SAAB 9.5 and love it. The big down side is that parts are VERY expensive if the thing breaks down. Luckily I haven't had a problem yet.

Yeah thats some nice cars. But you cant have a Saab with rear wheel drive.. You just canĀ“t.. It kinda against what Saab stand for..
rear wheels drive is no problem here in the "snowy" Sweden... I have a Volvo 142 from 1969 with a straight four..

Interesting! V8 or V10 with rear wheel drive!

I have had a V6 powered Volvo 960 in the past. We don't have snow in Winter in Hong Kong. So, we have no problem with rear wheel drive. In fact, I like my 960 very much. I still miss it today. But, due to air-con problem, I have sold it and get my current S70.

Volvo for life.

I think SAAB has made good vehicles as well as fighters like Viggen, Gripen, Darken, etc. However, it should mentioned that both Viggen and Gripen are powered by Volvo Aero flymotor RM8 and RM12 respectively.

Yes SAAB had a high performance version of the 93 called Viggen. It has a 225 hp turbo engine and some other special equipment that didn't come in the other 93's. The only problem with this car is that it's based on the same platform as the Opel Vectra and is not capable of handling such power as the Viggen provided. It was better when SAAB made their own cars without the interference form GM. Anyway this is a yellow one below for the people not familiar with this one.

Saab been producing cars for quiet some time, considered to be fairly good and fast cars too. The Saab 900 series is very well known.

Not sure if any of their cars are called Viggen though.

A SAAB query

I've been scrubbing the net trying to find research photos for a SAAB 37 Viggen fighter plane I just bought, and I ended up with a whole lot of car pictures when I did the search.

Has SAAB recently made a car and named it "Viggen"? Some of the pictures had the Viggen aircraft alongside the car.

I'm not too up on happenings in the automotive world, so I thought I'd ask here.
