I've been thinking about this transkit for a while but its a bit pricey. If you get another couple of confirmed GBers then I'll be in as well - probably

Well, you have a very good idea for a subject,my only problem is that I just bought the 'Auto Palace' version about 2 weeks ago.And from looking at the list of contents ,I am pretty sure I don't have everything that is listed even though it is still a Rennaissance kit.Good luck.

Looking for some serious minded modelers for an ALMS build

After being involved in some rather disappointing group builds recently, I've decided that I'd like to start one of my own. The ALMS series is something that I've really fallen in love with and would like it to be the subject of my GB.

Unlike other GB's that pick a theme and leave it to you to pick the kit. I am picking a specific subject and kit. The reason for this is that I like to compare different approaches to the exact same kit. No two people build exactly alike. For me it's very enjoyable too see how others tackle the same situation. I've found this to be a very useful way to learn new techniques.

The only other stipulation I'm making is that your serious. This means that you are willing to post lots of photos, give detailed explanations of your progress, work within a structured time frame and attempt to meet certain goals along the way. Yeah I know, most of you at this point are thinking...TAKE A HIKE. I know i'm asking a lot, but i'm looking for that handfull of people that are as demented as I am. If you can't seriously commit to this build then please don't waste my time, Ive run into enough of that already. If your currently involved in a GB, well maybe next time around then. I'm not looking for group-build-aholics.

Finally the build. This is the subject:

This is the kit:http://www.mediamixhobby.com.sg/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=4&products_id=1575

Start and finish dates TBA. I hope to get at least 2-3 people to join this build. I'll be doing it either way, but I think I need at least one other person in order to call it a group build.

Thanks
Darren
