Painting and modeling skills at the age of 40!!!
Posted by proosen on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 2:46 AM
Hi guys and gals!
New year and new tasks, this is the first one to be finished at our home this year. Take a look at these fabulous pictures of the subject and the builder/painter....

Niclas

....Ohh!? didn't I mention that the age is in month's not years!? Anyway, this is my son and he's about 3½ years old. Most of the building I had to do but he participated during the whole build squeezing glue, cliping of parts from the tree. All this when he wasn't occupied asking a million and one questions and amazed over the fact that there was a cooling fan, exhaust system and the whole works Big Smile [:D]

Yeah Niclas, teach him young! If he grows up in you mold (no pun...) you would have done well. Early appreciation, that's the key! And all that in national colours as well, quite the artist! Wink [;)]

Great to see, and I'm sure you thoroughly enjoyed building it with him.

thats awsome. I didn't have a dad around to do that, but i remember how magical it was to open a kit and see all that stuff on the sprues.

I must admit, modeling was more fun back then. I didn't care if I twisted the parts of the sprue, glopped it up with gel cement and brush painted the whole model.
