Thanks for the help! I will conduct a search on that... thanks for the links.

Prowler: Actually, I had considered something like this, but I was thinking of splicing the louvered sections into the ZZ-Top side panels.

I haven't looked around too much there but have you tried Modelhaus? www.modelhaus.com

You might also try posting a request over at Tom's Hobby Heaven. In case you haven't been there before... go to www.modelcarkits.com and go to the message board. You don't have to register or anything. Just click on the *Post New Message* button at the top of the board and have at it. They're nice folks and people do that all the time.

Have you tried using the panels from AMT/ERTL's 34 Ford kit? I know, it is 1/25, but sometimes the scale diffrence isn't there. And if it is, you could add sheet plastic and a little putty to make em bigger. I might have a extra pair around. I didn't use them on the street rod I'm doing. It's just a matter of finding them in my mess downstairs. I'll let you know when I do.

Can anyone here tell me if any aftermarket company makes or made STOCK louvered hood side panels for the Monogram 1:24 '34 Ford (ZZ-Top)? I'm looking for replicas of the panels as they came in the original issue of the 1934 Ford kit... resin would be OK. IMHO, Monogram would do well to re-release this version of the kit, assuming, of course, that they haven't BUTCHERED the original molds. This was a really nice kit.
