Thanks guys.

Hans- For the goldleafing I tried out one the few things I could come up with. I took the smallest strip styrene that my LHS carried and painted it with Tamiya gold leaf. I then took a pencil and a ruler and as best as I could made the marks where I wanted the lines at. Then just glued the strips onto the body. They are a bit raised , but it should work. I have found out since that there is smaller strip than I used which would have worked great. I think what I used was .010 and they have .005.

What a brilliant site. The `build log` is facinating and I`m watching and waiting for the `how to` section to get up and running, because I can use all the help that`s goingLaugh [(-D]

Can't remember the last time I showed any kind of builds so I figured I would put up my current one. I am doing a 1937 open cab fire truck. This is a combination kit bash and scratchbuild. I don't know the exact type truck it is going to be as of yet since I have this bad habit of planning as I go along. The buildlog for it can be found here on my site.
