2 - 1/25TH Scale 359 Peterbilt Conventionals finished pics
Posted by LionBaron on Saturday, February 5, 2005 6:59 PM
Hi all I'm new to the auto forum here I usually build aircraft but I decided to try my hand at something new for me , here is the finished results , hope you like them I used model master paints on both rigs and clear glosscote to bring out the shine in the paint , both truck engines are cat yellow , the red pete 359 has
tan interior and the gloss blue 359 has gray interior , I had both kits in storage for about 1 year .

Thanks for viewing my post !! Smile [:)]

Very nice work Earl! Beautiful finish on both of them. You should come over to the truck side of modelling, we always need more truck builders! Big Smile [:D]

Great pics Earl - keep them coming!
EVERYTNING I`ve made is 1:24 scale, is there an obvious difference between that and 1:25?

I build a lot in BOTH scales. The only time I notice an obvious difference in scale is when the two are side by side. Even then, the only part that gives it away is the tandems. The 1:24th wheels are ever so slightly higher.

I drive a Mack R688S myself, so I am partial to Mack models, but your Petes look great.

A job well done. I also build model trucks and am very well aware of the thought and effort required to complete wonderful models such as yours.
