A little polishing and it will be a stunner, still have mine almost finished but screwed up the paint job on the final straight Angry [:(!] It's one heck of a model of a dito car. Looking good to me, isn't it fantastic that one seems to find errors in their own work that no one else will ever see!?

Nice looking Enzo mate. Did you add aftermarket carbon fibre decals? Or, did they come with the kit? All the paint job needs is a quick polish with some Tamiya compound, and it'll look awesome.

Thanks for sharing.

Good looking vehicle, great job! I'm much like you, where you see the little mistakes that noone else can, and it drives you nuts. You should ask me about how long I've been working on my Trade Federation Tank... *cough*1 year*cough* I'm a perfectionist, and this thing is way overdue to my Nephew because of it... poor kid, he may actually be 2 years old by the time he gets it... lol.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks again.

Jon, just think though when you give it to him for his graduation present you can tell him 12 years of school was nothing compared to that build. Big Smile [:D]

LOL! Sometimes it feels that way! A finished build is always better than one that is still in the box with all your "good intentions." I'm getting there though, slowly and surely. And it'll still have flaws that drives me nuts! Big Smile [:D]

Thanks. You're right Heath. Took a bit to start cutting them off and even more to cover them with paint. I think you could actually just poilsh the plastic body panels and get a decent shine off it.

nice!!!!!!!!!
this question is nothing against your model but was the gap like that when you were building it?
I'm building a revell enzo and there were no gaps present

The gaps are from the seprate body panels. The tamiya kit unlike the revell one builds up like the actual car so that does leave some gaps between them. There are a couple though that I think are a little bigger than planned but I think that is from something elkse getting a little bit off and that carried over tot he rest of the stuff not fitting right.

This is what I am talking about, seperate panels

That go on to a monochoque chassis

I have been eyeing this kit myself, what's the difference between the red and the yellow kits? Is it just the color plastic it is molded in or are there other differences?

paz8473 - The difference between the two is that theyellow one comes with the carbon fiber decals and something else I think. I belive the red version was discontinued once they came out with the yellow as well.

jinithith2 - The kit included some screen for those that just needed to be cut out. Basically kind of like some window screen stuff.

Well, I picked this kit up today at HL, 1/2 price, couldn't pass it up, even if I don't get to build it right away.
