I bought most of my Esci kits (Escort, Fiat 131, VW Golf, Mercedes 450, 911, RSR)around 1980. They went together quite easily but are not totally acurate. I still have the Escort to build and have no hesitation in doing so (especially as there isn't any other Mk2 Escort in 24th). They are definately not in the Tamiya or Haseqawa class. Good reference material is helpful and it won't take much to fix some of the errors. Some are now being re-released by Revell and Renaissance are producing aftermarket decal sets for them as well. I don't know what you should pay for them but I wouldn't think very much.
If I remember correctly the Range Rover is of a Paris Dakar vehicle isn't it??
