Results of the "Help Finding Photos of Car Carriers" request. (pics)

Well I'm sure you did this but, I googled Commercial Vehicle transporters and got a bunch of hits, unfortunatley none with photos. If all else fails, come up to MI and sit on I-94 between Chicago and Detroit. The Motorcity ships a ton of cars down this corridor. Just bring your digital camera.

yea, that's what i ran into also.

i like the idea of coming up to MI, although I would pick the UP. was stationed up there for 4 years and fell in love with the place. of course, the pickin's would be pretty slim on car carriers, but, snowmobile carriers would be plenty though!

Here's the results of my car carrier project. The vehicle is 1/87 HO scale and started as an Atlas carrier. I replaced the tractor with a Boley Internatinal truck, in which I lowered the vehicle and put on Herpa beverage truck wheels and tires, to simulate the small wheels and tires of the 1:1 truck. The mirrors are from Plano and the decals are from Microscale and Walthers.
