This last weekend the new Fine Scale Model came out and we where able to get a copy that has her 52nd Detroit Auto Rama Junior award winner and Kalamazoo IPMS winner in it. (The photo looks great FSM) Then she brought out her new car for the 53rd Detroit Auto Rama Junior Divison 12 and under. After taking 1yr and 2 months to do it and keep it under raps on what was going on in this project. She walked away with her secound award. Here is some photos of the 53rd Detroit Auto Rama World Of Wheels Junior Divison 12 and under winner.
She did do 99% of the work her self as i only did the clear coat on this because its Acrylic Urethane Lacquer and the paint is the same but it made her sick even with a mask on. But every thing els was done by her and also the special parts on the car where donated from a real hot rod company. The after market parts where used, Shaw Custom Aluminum Works drive shaft,Headers and exhaust. Paint is Horizon Color NC, Special mix Shaw Blue. Inter was flock Bone White with Blue trim. it has the brake lines and fuel lines ran. Motor was wired using Scale Modeling by Chris parts. The top was chop 3" and turn 30 degrees and made into a 3 window out of the 5w kit. The rims are special made from Boyd Coddington's crew ( please do not ask how we got them but we are doing next years car with some new rims) They came off the base of the Aluma Tub.
