Nice job! But your Way Overloaded using a Double Axle Tractor!.. You need to add a Third Axle to the tractor to be legal...I my self drove such a truck for a Large Metal Tubing Mfg Company for over 20 years here in Southern Calif....We used that type crane, it was hooked to the frame rails on top of a 45' Flat Bed trailor bed.. As I unloaded I would push a lever that would move the Crane up the frame rail to the next set of bundles of conduit ...We had 10' lengths of bundled Metal Electrical Conduit that weighed 2,000 lbs a bundle.I could only unload one bundle at a time and we had to use out- riggers so the trailor would not tip over when offloading onto the ground from the sides of the trailor..As a Truck Driver, I transported Metal Conduit to job sites using that type of "Elephant Crane" to unload when no fork lift was availabale....Good job except for the weight problem....Pallets of bricks/bundles of metal tubing/etc. are heavy!..Add a third axle to the tractor and a out rigger to each side at the bottom rear of your crane... Also get rid of the sides on the trailor so your cranes forks can get under the pallet's to unload also to show the bricks or what ever your transporting.. Good tarp job too!.........you get a "A" .. ...regards..."RC"

RC, Thanks a lot for the constructive ideas, it`s just what I was hoping for. Adding a third axle will be no trouble at all (I`ve several tractor units that fit the bill - LOL) I`ll see which to photgraph tomorrow.
If you knew how long those sides took me - you wouldn`t say to get rid of them .
Since completing the model, I`ve seen several 1:1 brick trucks on the road with drop-down sides made from open mesh. I think I`ll have a go with that idea on another trailer. Once again - thanks.
