Hi All, I`ve just bought the Italeri Renault Magnum/Red Bull/Yamaha racing kit on ebay. It was a brand new offer that was too good to miss.
I have never built anything other than 1:24 trucks and trailors, but this kit comes with a Yamaha YXR 500 racing bike.
My question is, do I leave it sealed and ready for resale (my initial idea) or will I get a kick out of opening it and building the bike? Normally I wouldn`t dream of going out and buying a bike kit.

Thanks Captain, Just goes to show how much I know! LOL. The motto must be `don`t jump to conclusions`. I didn`t want to open it in case I resold.

Hi there Spitfire. I assume you built the rig in the picture. If so then looking at it,you enjoy detailing. While all the Tamiya cycles are wll detailed & a joy to build, you can really go to town with additional plumbing & wiring. And just like me & armor,I enjot a diversion once in a while by doing bikes, cars or aircraft. So my 2 cents says build it.While I have you, does anyone make a good tow truck or flat bed in 1/24th/25th scale ? You've just given me an idea for my next break from armor ! Semper fi, rudedog

Hi Rudedog, I have photos of a 1:24 Italeri Merc/Benz European tow-truck that I built. but i guess you mean US ones. My local shop has a US Wrecker truck in stock and I must say it looks wicked! (#ITAL 3825)
