tamiya cosworth details

Hello fellow modelers, I am new to using forum but need some help. I am getting into buiding F1 models and need help detailing a part. On the 70's Cosworth engines - Tamiya Lotus JPS and Tyrrell P34 for example - there is a distributor mounted on top of the engine block. On the back of the distributor is a two-prong shape that I would like to know what it is, and how to give it more detail. Since its on the top of the engine it needs some detailing. Can anyone help out with info, or a place I can get referrence photos?
