how do you guys do window edging?

specifically, the kind that is chrome with rubber on both sides of it. theres got to be a better way!Tongue [:P] any info would help my next project, the current one is now officially a 'learning experience' . THanks gang.

You can use a Sharpie for the rubber and BMF for the chrome. The Sharpie will even leave a slight shine like the real rubber.

The problem with the sharpie or any markers is that when you take pictures outside it looks purple.I used it for a model and when i took pics of it that happend.

You can always mask of the trim and paint it black. When dry apply thin stripes of BMF so the black will be seen on boht sides of the bright work.
I tried with black decal film once instead of paint and it worked out really well but was somewhat fiddly to do.

BMF makes a black foil. Works perfectly for this.

i like the blake foil its not to hard to do and it looks really good when the model is finished
