finishing up on Mercedes CLK-GTR
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, April 11, 2005 1:06 AM
hello all... hope to be wrapping up my GTR soon and was looking for any info on displaying for pics. I dont have a digital camera as of yet but soonSmile [:)].. I wish I had it at the beginning of the build.. I bought it from online hobby store and when it arrived the entire cabin area was crushedDisapprove [V].. Both window pillars were broken off and the front cowling was cracked.. The hobby store where I bought quickley sent a replacement but I went ahead with this one. A little bondo, superglue and a whole lot of sanding and tlc later it is almost complete. I've noticed on some pics that its a good idea to shoot it on a white background. What would provide the best lighting? Thanks for any info and I hope to send pics soon. Shane

I did a sky blue background and it turn out well. My brother told me to use black or grey but I havent tried it yet. and it also depends on the color of your car. I'm doing the GTR too. but just finish the body shell, still have not touch the chasis.
Email me re9za@yahoo.com perhaps I can send you some of my pictures.
