Trailer for a John Deere backhoe
Posted by Holley on Thursday, April 14, 2005 4:58 PM
I am searching for plans or a kit of a 1/25 scale trailer suitable for hauling a John Deere 310 backhoe behind a dump truck. I prefer a military (pintle) type hitch. Has anyone seen anything like this? Thanks in advance.

Hmmm... you got me there, but someone's bound to have some ideas on this. I can't wait to see it, thanks! Smile [:)]

Take care,

I built one from scratch usin gthe plans in an old Scale Auto Enthusiast "Best of Model Cars Volume 1" from 1991. It gives materials list too. Here is a link to some pictures:

Dear jragusa
Untill I went to your link, I didn`t know what a J.D.B was. Let alone a trailer for one. You learn something everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AMT still has the tri-axle lowboy semi-trailer out there. You could do some modifications on it to alter it from a fifth wheel to a pintle hitch.
