Well, Mike did state that it is a "what if show car". Maybe there would be one specially modified pursuit vehicle attached to certain principalities, which would be called into service only to terminate high speed events. Not patrol, just chase and terminate. <;-). And besides, if a rebuilt 426 or 440 HEMI was installed, I'd estimate it would be *maintained* enough that a compression problem wouldn't be a concern. A tweaked out HEMI could overcome anything on the road (ie: Maurice Petty & Bud Moore
), but would be extremely dangerous to the operator unless a roll cage was included in the package!
I've entertained the thought of kitbashing an unlimited pursuit vehicle like that.... makes my mouth water just thinking about it!
